Raheenagh N.S. Past Pupil Debuts In AFL

Kantoher Development Group would like to congratulate James Magner, past pupil of Raheenagh National School in Killeedy, on his debut in the Australian Football League (AFL). James lined out for the oldest continuous football club in the world, the Melbourne Demons against Brisbane Lions and scored 2 goals in an impressive debut. One of Australia’s biggest sporting websites had this to say “It has only taken him two games, but Magner is already leading the way for Melbourne. After an impressive display on debut against Brisbane, Magner collected a game-high 20 contested disposals in the loss to West Coast. The mature-age recruit’s 32 disposals included 11 clearances.”
Well done James from all in Killeedy and best of luck for the rest of the season!
